About James A. Gow Consulting

James A Gow Consulting has provided custom database and application design to the commercial information services arena for over seventeen years. We are based in Fairfax, Virginia, U.S.A. and service a wide array of customers from diverse industries and backgrounds.

Our special areas of expertise include database design, database integration, client server application design, SQL Server on-site training, and facilitating the implementation of enterprise scale database systems. In addition, we have successfully carried out many client server database migrations, whether from one vendor to another, or when upgrading within a given vendor's product line. We are specialists in the use of Microsoft SQL Server database and .NET development environments.

A key facet of our approach is the ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels of a customer organization which dramatically helps to improve a scenario which is often tense and complicated.

Our projects have been carried out in many parts of the world including South East Asia, Australia and the United States. This has given us a detailed understanding of international commerce concerns and customs as they apply to information systems applications.
